I do, because I have wide calves and regular boots never fit--even the "wide"-calf versions, which never seem to be more than half an inch larger than the regular version.

I recently got these and every time I wear them I get a lot of compliments. Be forewarned that they do not have any elastic/zip, so they can be tough to put on until you've stretched them out a little. They don't come in half-sizes so I went up. Bonus: they are not that expensive and I see a 30% off code good through tomorrow.

I have these flat-ish, suede Clark's and loooove them. I was just thinking I should get a non-suede pair
