I miss a lot of the bloggers that started and seemed to bring a fresh new perspective to the site. I know it's hard to keep up a blog, especially if you are working full time.

I just realized I miss Mrs.VW. Our wedding's were a week apart back in 2009. We were trying for babies at the same time. I miss her a lot and hope that she has a little one.

i wondered about ecogirl a lot too -- as i recall she stopped posting during a particularily difficult time for her. i always hoped that everything worked out well for her and her family. her life was really interesting and she was really sweet!
i totally understand about just stopping posting/reading though! i get into ebbs and flows too! esp when i've been away from the computer for a long time (eg. christmas vacation) sometimes i consider not coming back to reading any of my blogs/message boards, etc because i think it will save me time in real life haha.... (which it would!), but eventually i end up back at hb anyway!
even if it's just reading and not posting. all to say, i think sometimes ppl just stop posting for no real reason other than life gets in the way and they're out of the habit of checking the boards -
When I clicked on this I'd only been thinking of runsyellowlites, but now that you all have mentioned the other missing bees, I wonder about them, too! I hope everyone is doing well

I do too but I totally understand. Life just gets busy whether it's with kids or with work or just other things. Or sometimes we just need a break b/c HB is so addicting!
even if it's just reading and not posting. all to say, i think sometimes ppl just stop posting for no real reason other than life gets in the way and they're out of the habit of checking the boards
