I wish so badly I had written her a letter the night she was born! I started a "journal" to her in word on her one-week birthday. I just kind of write whatever I'm thinking. I did set up an email account for her but haven't sent anything to it yet. I might put what I've written in word into an email instead.

I have a journal that I write in each evening, telling LO what we did that day, how she makes me feel, and just any other random thoughts that come into my head. When she hits a milestone, I do a separate entry. It's all colour coded as well - entries are in normal ballpoint pen, but a big milestone has a heading written with pink gel pen, special occasions are written in green gel ink, etc. Ha, kind of sounds like a 12 yr old girl's calendar but it makes it easy to flip through and find important events!

My only regret is that I didn't start it until she turned 3 months old, although I do have a detailed baby book that captures a lot of our thoughts and feelings from the early days, so I guess that will suffice.

I have a blog, its not written as a journal to her, but just my experiences so far. I think she will like reading it.

I've been writing his monthly updates on my computer since he was a month old and they are in letter form. I will continue that.

I have really wanted to get a nice leather journal from Etsy and actually write him letters as he grows

I keep a journal for her and plan to do it for the whole first year at least.
