My 3 year old will say things like, "look at that momma!" but she actually rarely says she wants to buy something. There have been just a couple of things lately she mentioned she would like, so I put in the back of my head for gift ideas!
Does your LO ask for toys that they see on commercials or in ads?

Not yet but I remember doing it a lot as a kid! DS does sometimes point and go ooooh, but I think he's still too young to understand that you can buy these things in shops!

Nope, I only DVR PBS kids episodes and they don't have product commercials, that I've seen.

Not yet! But if we're walking near/in the toy aisle, he'll want to play/keep the toys with him. Takes some persuading to get him to put it back, especially if it's a ball, tennis racket, car, or airplane.

She doesn't ever see any toy commercials because her shows are PBS or Netflix or Amazon Prime. She would though, she's asked for food items she's seen in commercials for shows that DH and I watch.

OMG yes! He is 2.5 and almost any toy commercial that comes on during screen time gets a "mama I want that."

Yes. She watches those egg reveal / Play-Doh videos on Youtube and asks for all sorts of things now. The nice thing is she forgets it as soon as the clip is over.

No, but he regularly asks for Pine Sol because the commercials are constantly on Nick Jr. I don't know why he ignores the toy commercials and can't get over Pine Sol.
