My youngest hasn't hit me with this yet, but I hear it now and then from my eldest. He is usually so loving, but doesn't really understand unconditional love yet. Sometimes if feels I'm not listening to him, he will withdraw his love and say mean things. We're working on it, but it's pretty hit or miss.

Doesn't use the word "hate", but she will say, "I don't like you!" Or "you're not my best friend any more". So I say, "you don't have to like me but you still have to listen to me." - gawd I sound like my mother. Lol

My 2 year old has said "I hate you" once to me. She's very sensitive and saw my face fall, and hasn't said it since. It's rough to hear that one!

He's only 2.5 and told me the other day that "I don't like you! I like daddy!" In response to me telling him no to a show. It really hurt my feelings!
