I think both of our kids have a slight preference for the same-gender parent!

DS1 prefers DH because DH can give him undivided attention. DS2 is obsessed with me at the moment.

DS has always preferred daddy.

DS has always been a daddy's boy but these days seems to cling to me and because it's new I'm LOVING it! Dd is all about me but then again she is obsessed with nursing and DH can't provide that

He is starting to show a preference for me even when not nursing. He is 4 months.
