My daughter is usually pretty brave, but today she hid behind me when she saw someone she hadn't seen in a while! She is very aloof, but can be shy at times too. Usually not though!

Nope! She is so in-your-face its not even funny! She matches up to strangers and says "hiya" all the time!

DS for sure. It takes him ten to fifteen minutes to warm up to someone, and he'll cry if I don't stay with him that whole time. DD is still too young to know her personality.

Yup! He warms up to them after awhile though. If you're too in his face up front, it'll take him longer to warm up to you.
