Our son likes to switch back and forth between watercolors and acrylics. I prefer watercolors though, because it's not as messy!

She likes to color with any type of paint, like you, I prefer water colors because they don't make as much of a mess. But if it's going to keep her busy for a while she can paint with whatever she wants!
