We have hampers in the bathroom (where most clothes get taken off for baths), but no hampers in the kids' bedrooms. I'd like to add them, but there's not that much room in our city-sized bedrooms!

nope - I use the main hamper in our bathroom, which is right in front of our built in laundry cupboard. If I had one in her room I figure it would just get filled with stinky clothes and make her room smell funky.

No, I keep one in our master bedroom closet that's got divided sections and all our stuff goes in there.

yup! Lo has one in her room, I have my own in our MBR closet, and DH has his own divided one in our closet, too.

Yes! We have one for each of us, our bathroom is so tiny that we don't have space for one there. DH and I have larger ones from Target and DS has a cheapie mesh one from IKEA.

No, there's one in the bathroom adjacent to his room, and a second in our closet.

We have this small, corner one. It's up against a bookshelf and takes up hardly any room

Yes, DS has a hamper in his room. I like to wash his clothes separately so I can be lazy and just pull clean clothes out of the laundry basket when I don't have time to put them away. I guess we could put it in his bathroom, but there's not really a good spot for it.
DH and I also have our own separate hampers that we keep in each of our closets. We are just not a combined laundry kind of family.

Nope. The laundry room is upstairs so we just keep a large hamper in there.

Yes we have the cloth/soft style hamper in the closet in DD's nursery.

It never occurred to me to not have one. We keep ours in the laundry room, but only because it's right off of our room, so it's the most convenient. She'll have her own in her room, though that's one of the few things we haven't actually bought yet!

Yup. And the kids rooms share a jack n jill bath so there's not reason to have a hamper in the bathroom since it's attached to their rooms anyway. Kepping the dirty laundry separate and running each persons wash by itself makes putting it away a lot less of a head ache.
