My mom is always telling me how great other kids are....your cousin's son is so well behaved and follows commands because his wife stays at home.
Cindy's son knows over 100 words. Etc!
I hope she brags about my LOs too!

Oh yes! My mother is no longer here, but my father looooves his grandson. We sent dad a photobook of DS's first year and then a calendar this past year and I know he pulls both of them out at every occasion when someone comes into his shop.
I think my in-laws have a little more restraint.

@autumnlove: my mom does this! J is pretty active compared to the other non-mobile babies she's spent time with. She comments about how the other kids are so 'sweet' and 'smiley'.

Well she might brag more if they lived closer. We only get to see the kids (my brothers kids) a handful of times each year. She can't wait to brag about the twins & they aren't even here yet lol.

oh yes, my parents brag about my nieces allll the time, nothing gives them more happiness than those little girls! my mom carries a brag book in her purse to show to whoever will look at pictures. when we have kids they'll be completely over the moon, especially because by then my parents will be living in the same city as us and will be around so much.
