My dad does sometimes. He will take a photo I send or post and post it to his account saying "c at her first parade" or whatever. He used to do it with photos I sent but didn't put on FB but he's been better about that. So I don't mind even if it does make it sound like he's more involved than he really is.

My mom used to, but she stopped when I decided to stop sharing photos of the girls online. She is very involved, and used to watch my oldest on a regular basis.

My mom is the former you describe and my FIL is the latter!

YES!!! Beyond annoying when it's a grandparent who isn't involved. My one MIL is a "superstar" when it comes to this. She's the reason I don't have a facebook lol. There's nothing more annoying than someone showing off without any credit.

Nope. They're all super involved with him and see him all the time. Only my mom is on social media and she's a very light user. My sister in law will occasionally post a photo of my son without asking but I try to let it go. I don't post him more than 1-2 times a year myself so it does bother me. Now my mother in law probably shows a picture of his face to everyone she sees wherever she goes but not exactly the same

YES this is my mom. She met DS once and barely held him for 10 minutes and posts every pic I email her! It's annoying because she posts pics and videos that I would never post, but at least now I know that's what she will do so I don't send her anything I'm not ok with her making public. It definitely bugs me!

Neither of my parents have social media. My FIL never posts or shares photos of the girls. My MIL would share every.single.photo I posted to my account. It drove me absolutely insane so now I have her blocked (restricted so she can't see anything I post unless it's public.) So now that she rarely sees the girls, she doesn't post pics of them. We texted her pics after my second was born ( fresh pics, like when she was getting weighed) and my MIL posted that to her fb. I was livid. A naked pic of my daughter, still blue as the cord was around her neck, still with blood all over her. This time it will be extremely clear not to post private pictures we send after the baby is born.

My mom rarely posts photos, and usually it's ones she's taken or were taken on her phone. There are a couple times she's posted a photo I sent her privately, but I don't mind. She's bragging about lo (one was of lo "reading" a book when she was like 4 months, lol), plus she's super involved so it's not like she's being a poser-grandma, lol

Mil rarely posts anything, I just looked at her pics (she's literally only ever posted about 20 pics!) and she's taken pics we sent her of lo twice in 2.5 years and posted them as if they were her own. So rare that it doesn't bother me!

Nope. But we don't have anything on there either except name and birth details when she was born. I think we asked them not to as well just in case, but I don't remember.
