Tons. I don't have to buy her anything. My mom will usually buy her things when we're all out shopping together. My MIL will buy her things randomly. And my dad will sometimes get her things.... the other day he gave me like 8 new outfits for her!

I fully anticipate my parents buying my lo and future kids things often. I don't think my in-laws will, they are not big gift givers and my MIL is not exactly happy about this pregnancy.

My mom lives at BJs and Costco--she buys LO diapers, wipes, and tons and tons of outfits. She's at BJs right now picking up diapers! Both of our moms (first time grandmas) have bought big items: crib, stroller. And our dads, too. My dad just handed me a wad of cash and said buy what you need.

baby's in my tummy, and they've already started divvying up the things they are going to buy him/her! my mom loves buying me clothes, so I know she's going to go crazy on the clothes-front once we know the gender.

Almost every time my mom comes over she brings some more clothes for LO. Both sets of parents bought our crib and dresser. And my dad bought a ginormous box of wipes at Costco. They're always asking if we need stuff but I usually say no because they've already given us so much and I know they'll go buy something anyway!

My mom lives out of state but they have really good thrift shops. She buys lots of things for LO there. She knows my style and the brands I prefer so I appreciate her doing that. She gets each thing for like 50¢. My sisters buy.a lot thrifting, too. Dad, not so much, but he did get us her big jogging stroller and paid for lots of thungs when he was up here waiting for baby! My in-laws don't get as much for her, not sure why that is. My SIL gets her stuff sometimes though.

No, not really. We live far away from my parents and my ILs don't really buy much for any of their grandkids. I have a feeling my ILs do more for my SIL than us, but I am okay with it. I don't like feeling as though the stuff comes with expectations, which is how my MIL makes me feel sometimes.

My parents don't buy LO many things because they know how overwhelmed we are with baby stuff anyway. But when it comes to gift-giving opportunities, they tend to ask us what we want/need or give us money to buy those things. My in-laws are the same way, too, actually.

My mom buys them something every week. Usually pajamas, outfits and educational toys. Once every month or so, it's something big.
My in-laws only give gifts on their birthday. Sometimes MIL will bring by something randomly like a teething toy or bubbles.

My stepmom has gone absolutely bonkers with how much stuff she's gotten the boys. She got us clothes up to size 2T and they're not even born yet! My dad had to cut her off for the time being - she was trying to buy them tricycles! lmao

My MIL is very talented with sewing and crocheting/knitting, so she has made some beautiful items for the boys that I can't wait to use!

My mom tries to but she's afraid of buying stuff I don't like hehe. And she's watching my baby nephew full time now so not as much time on her hands. So typically she just gives me cash. But when she was back in China 2 years ago she brought in a whole bunch of baby stuff I wanted that you can't get here in the States!
My ILs do because my MIL is retired so she has all the time in the world. She sends care packages often. Just last month she sent a ton of sleepers bc she knew M outgrew hers. And last week she sent a whole bunch of spoons! Hahha

yeah, it's already started and i'm barely 17w! i know that both our moms are going to spoil the heck out of any grandkids and this one being the first, is going to get a heck of a lot of stuff!
