We went to mine last night but we left somewhat early to pick up LO. I'm getting caught up this morning about coworkers drinking too much and getting rowdy with other patrons at the bar. I'm kinda bummed that I missed the excitement!

Our holiday parties are usually just potluck style, close the store for an hour sorts, so no rowdiness. It would be fun to see a little more excitement though!

Mine have always been tame, but I work at a hotel so there have been tons of holiday parties lately for other companies. At a LUNCH event on Friday, some woman got totally hammered, cussed out her boss, tripped and fell in the lobby and was yelling gibberish on our front drive. Cabs wouldn't even take her. I'm pretty sure she is getting fired... I just can't believe someone would get that wasted at a daytime function.

Everywhere I've ever worked has been LAME, but my DH's company is ridiculous! Their after-parties are always at a bar that is infamous for being SLOPPY! And the party itself isn't much tamer - the open bar is totally taken advantage of... going last year while pregnant = no fun. This year, we left fairly early....I stink at partying when I know that we're going to be up with the little guy at 6 am.

DHs is pretty crazy, open bar and lots of young people.
Mine we just do a staff lunch, so it was really calm. Last year though the sales department did a separate lunch. It lasted 6 hours and all the men were SO SO trashed. It was pretty funny.. but I didn't expect to be there for 6 hours!

Not at my current job, but at my old job there was always an after party that got a little out of hand!

Hhaha oh man, my DH's parties are RIDICULOUS. They are held at a bar, and even though you have to sign a waiver saying you'll be good, etc etc, holy cow, the drunkenness that goes on is insane. There's always at least one or two people getting carried out by the end. And the sluttiness! If i can see 50% of your bra, or any % of your thong underwear, your dress is not big enough.

My previous company was barred from the venues they held their parties in two years in a row!! People falling down stairs, fighting, sleeping with each other left right and centre - it got pretty crazy.

My previous company (my DH also worked there) was mostly comprised of people quite a bit older than us who would all get drunk and swap partners. We learned after the first year to leave once the dancing started, lol.

DH's company isn't having a formal holiday party. They are doing small events every day this week & a spouse lunch on Friday. I won't be going cause I was suppose to work but its to late to change the RSVP. The conferences they hold get crazy. They were doing a team exercise and a guy danced around in his boxers & some girl bit his ear hard enough to draw blood. They were both married & this behavior carried on into the evening.
My company has a holiday party with staff & clients. Most of the staff that go are having to work during the party. The only time it gets crazy is when the clients have behaviors.

LOL. er... no.
I'm the youngest person in my office by at LEAST 20 years. I work for a bunch of stuffy rich folk so they're pretty formal affairs and any rowdiness is kind of frowned upon!

Yes! Ours was Saturday night, it was much more tame than last year though. I didn't see anyone's spanx, boobs and the EMT 's weren't called to haul off a girl who hit her head on the event center toilet whilst puking (after trying to take our CEO to her room....in front of his wife).
I'm the lucky girl in charge of the events so I get all the good dirt
