I blogged my first pregnancy.
I want to again, but finding the time this time is hard. I have an open word doc going, we'll see if I get around to blogging it!

@MrsBrewer: Yeah, I'm lucky. She also quilts and is making one for the baby. She told me she wants to do a really good job, so he can pass it in to his son someday! Good luck with your journal. I've been saying since Christmas that I should really start writing in mine.

Yes, weekly. It's a specific pregnancy journal so there are prompts. Just a few sentences each week about what we did, how I feel, any appointments and updates, etc.

Nope, I just don't have the sense of commitment to stuff like this. I start off so good and slack.

@MrsBrewer: Oh yeah, there are a zillion options out there. If you decide to go with one, be sure and research them some first. (I found it helpful to look at the negative reviews on Amazon, because people usually had specific things they didn't like rather than just saying "oh, it's great!") Some are written as if you're talking to the baby, others are more for you. Some have lots of prompts and structure (Like the Belly Book @Smurfette linked to), others have more open space for journaling or whatever you want. Some include advice/info/tips, others are just for what you write. It's just a matter of what you're looking for.

The one I had last time was this- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0615318541?ie=UTF8&tag=natureblog-20 I really liked it. It was fairly hippie-ish, but I wanted that. The art is beautiful. I liked that it had a small space for every day (with a few blank pages every so often for pictures), since I usually didn't want to write a ton every day. As best as I can recall, it had pretty much no prompts other than the "day I found out" type stuff at the beginning.

This time I got this one- http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/1570616817/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's pretty much straight space for journaling. With this being my 4th pregnancy, I'm just not that worried about tracking symptoms or anything. (And I'll have most of that on my blog and on my due date thread here if I really want to remember later.) There are little phrases at the bottom of each page like, "how tired I am," and "love the love." They're subtle enough that you don't have to consider them prompts, but if you can't think what to write it might give you an idea. It's also unlined so if you like to draw or anything else, you aren't limited. It has virtually no structure to it, which is what I wanted, and the art is very pretty, lots of butterflies and sunflowers and things.

I made a pregnancy book on shutterfly week by week. It's almost finished..just needs his hospital and newborn pics and my birth story and then I can order it.

He's 11 months old. Haha

We just got a pregnancy journal as a gift from DH's aunt. I am not one for journaling so I didn't think I would use one but I actually spent time filling it out last night!

I don't journal, but I do send weekly emails to my baby girl, and plan to send occasional emails after she's born too. I usually just include a bump picture, info on how big she is, and something about my week.
