It's not quite a migraine, but I get mild to really bad headaches when the weather gets cloudy/overcast.
But when I look up the migraine/headache index, it's always low (like 1 or something). Is this a barometer thing? Does anyone else get this?

I do get headaches sometimes when the weather is much different than what it's been. Luckily I didn't get one today.

@stiletto_mom: I get these too! It usually has to do with a major pressure change... like when it's just about to rain.
I moved six months ago, and haven't gotten one since!

Constantly, something to do with the pressure changes!

I used to constantly when I lived in the Midwest, but since moving to the Southwest I rarely get them. I do not miss them!

Yes I do too - I notice them the most when it's rainy out and I think it has something to do with the barometric pressure.

Yup-I get pressure headache when it's rainy or about to rain, especially if it's a big front coming through.

Same here, with the pressure change when it gets cloudy/ rainy. Sucks!
@mrbee: we went to Bali for our honeymoon and I didn't get a single headache the entire time. I usually hate humidity but I didn't miss the headaches.

I just heard something about this yesterday on the radio! I've had a bad sinus headache lately, I need to pay more attention to the weather to tell if it corresponds

Yep. I'm a better weather prognosticator than the weather channel! I can tell you when a hot, extra-humid day is coming.

Yes! They are so much worse when I am pregnant and can really knock me out for days. Usually I take an advil and feel better...

I get them a lot in the spring when my sinuses are already irritated. I had a terrible one last week, in fact, right before 2 days of heavy rain and a cold front. I take Aleve.

yes, although barometric pressure changes are a migraine trigger for me
