I just tried for the second time to set up Mint.com and it is such a pain and I can't get it to function the way I want it to!

I removed an account over a year ago and it still sends me low balance emails!

I don't like it at all... I stopped using it and now just do a paper budget.

I hate that it won't update my Gap credit card. Other than that, it serves its purpose. I don't love it, but I haven't found (nor really looked for) anything with similar functionality that does it better.

Ugh I hate Mint. Like @spaniellove, I used to have it, removed an account, and then it kept emailing me FOREVER. I think I just eventually set-up the emails to automatically get deleted.
I did just sign up for LearnVest, which is very similar, but I might like it better. I'm only one day into using it though, so I'll probably hate it by next week.

@alie: I need to do that. Seriously, of course there's a low balance - the account doesn't exist anymore!

I just had some many people rave and rave about it (even other people on WB) but I just can't figure out how to set it up to meet our needs!
I think we are going back to just doing the Dave Ramsey cash/envelope system.

I'm so glad other people don't like it--I thought I was the only one! I was really excited after hearing how helpful it was, but I found it confusing and way more work than it was worth.

I thought it was junk. I was better with a pencil, notepad and calculator.

i love it because i can't keep up with a manual list and we use our cards for everything. it's easier to enter cash payments and change things as we need. it's not perfect, but good for what we use it for. we have the apps on our phones and ipad as well, so DH and i can check in as needed. it did take a while to get everything set up though!

haha I loved the idea of it, but hated using it - all the stinking emails and reminders that we were poor!! ugh. I do better with a mental budget TBH. I know exactly what bills are due when (I keep a planner), spend about the same weekly in groceries, etc.
