I hate hate getting paper pay stubs! I was kidding with our work accountant and he said the payroll company charges to use e-stubs! I don't understand why they would charge for that?

I did when working at my last job. It was great - we had direct deposit and had a website to log onto to check all paystubs, W-2's, etc.

We do, but they're not emailed to us, which would be nice. We actually have to login to the system to look them up, which I rarely do.

At my temp job I did. It was nice, because of direct deposit and I didn't have to go up there just for a stub, and they didn't have to waste a stamp on me.

At my old job it was e-stubs and it was so easy! I rarely looked at it as long as the money is dd into my acct! Now I get paper ones only. My old company is huge tho compared to this one, so it makes sense that my company now don't want to pay extra for online version.

But evidently our payroll system charges for paper checks? They started giving some sort of debit card to people who didn't direct deposit.

I work for a large university and they forced* everyone into DD and don't issue paystubs at all. You have to log into the system to get them.
*you could petition to still get a paper check by they greatly deterred this option.

Yes, you can print out if you need too but it's linked on our company webpage.

I can log into a website to view my stubs and print them if I choose to.

We get estubs. Why would they charge more for estubs?? It's cheaper than paper, I would think.

I didn't even know this was possible! I HATE paper stubs!
