Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this... I just bought a tripp trapp off craigslist. It came without a harness, I ordered the stokke one and it doesn't fit. Come to find out it's an older model and it needs an older harness? Anyone else have luck finding one? I've contacted Stokke and since it's not under warranty they aren't much help...
If I can't find one I guess I will just use it without the harness as she gets older.
@T-Mom: Do you use a harness with your four year old still? I see it in the picture but do you feel like she needs it?

@kml636: we actually passed it on to my DS and I never got a new one for her. He does still use the harness occasionally at age 2. It's definitely not necessary at age 4 though.. It's odd that the seller couldn't provide the harness for you! How old is your LO?

@kml636: We stopped using the harness really early on (probably before 1?). My LO isn't a daredevil though and he never tried to climb out. He just turned 2 and we recently converted it into the regular chair so he definitely doesn't use the harness now and we have had no accidents so far (he climbs in and out independently and safely!).
How old is the Tripp Trapp?

I don't really like it. I am a huge stokke fan but it is not my favorite.
@kml636: I unknowingly purchased an older model and it isn't compatible with the new baby seat so I couldn't even use it! Stokke didn't help at all. Mine needs the bar (?) Why wouldn't they make the newer accessories compatible with the old. Lame!

@T-Mom: @Sammyfab: Thanks Ladies! My LO is 16 months so I will probably be able to use it without the harness soon.
@Greentea: I know, I'm annoyed. It seems like the bars were discontinued so we are screwed!

That's pretty common, that they're not helpful, because they want you to buy the new model, of course!
The Tripp Trapp looks cool, but my son hated it, I mean, to the point where he wouldn't sit in it.

We have something similar: http://www.leander.com/produkter/high-chair
We love it 'cause there is no plastic involved. It's all wood and leather. Price was similar to the Tripp Trapp too.
ETA: Oh I just saw this is an old thread Ah, well...
