I think it is nice as a middle name, but I think it would be a bit odd as a first name.

I think it makes a very pretty name...and I didn't think of the pants lol.

i say if you like it... go for it! who cares if other people like it? she's your baby, and if you love it, that's all that matters. plus, i think once people meet your sweet little one the name will take on a new meaning for them.

I thought of the pants ONLY because I was putting away my summer clothes today and was bombarded with capri pants that no longer fit me.

And seriously, how dare people tell you to your face that they don't like a name you've chosen? Sheesh! If YOU like it then that's all that matters!

I'm not a huge fan of it, but if i actually met someone with that name I'm sure it grow on me and I'd get use to it.

I know a girl named Capri and she is totally fabulous! I say go for it!

I think it would depend on the first name you put with it. But like others said I immediately thought of the Capri Sun juice pouches.

When i was in college, I knew a girl named Capri. She was very energetic, friendly, cute and sweet. I really like that name.

Haha - I didn't think of the pants, I thought of the car, the Mercury Capri. It's a not so common name that isn't totally out there. I say, if you like it, go for it!

i actually did think of the pants. sorry, i guess i'm in the minority, not a fan of the name. i do think it's definitely better as a middle than a first name.

I thought of Caprica, the SyFy TV show. Variation on Capri, perhaps?

This is a super old thread, and she used the name as a middle for her gorgeous girl (and it suits her perfectly), so maybe hold off on the "don't like it" comments.
