I've seen a couple of people on here mention they don't have it. I got rid of my Twitter account last night and am thinking of axing the ol FB too.

I love FB too much, especially because my sister doesn't live super close by and it's an easy platform to share our lives with her. I'm not super active on FB, I'm more of a lurker. I have a twitter, but I never post. I just follow some people.

I keep FB mainly as a way to keep in touch with my far away friends and family. I quit using Twitter a long time ago.

For me after college FB was only kept activated as a means to contact someone I may not otherwise be able to contact (no phone, address, etc). Now FB has become a great source for me to reach out to other parents dealing with FPIES through FB groups and pages. I rarely actually post anything on my own FB and pictures are kept to a minimum.
My DH deactivated his FB years ago and hasn't really looked back.

I have and love twitter, but I do not have fb, and no plans to get it back. Hate that I can't comment on anything without everyone being able to see it! I hate second guessing what people can or cannot see. I used to love facebook, but the privacy/commenting stuff totally took the fun out of it for me.

@grizz: I feel the same, my FB is full of rubbish these days and I get increasingly frustrated with people on it every day. That aside, I use it to keep in touch with family I don't see often, so I don't want to miss out on their photos.

I wish I could get rid of it. I get annoyed every time I log in anyways.

I love twitter and IG but don't use my fb. I deactivated it after college! I deleted a TON of "friends" but still felt like it was just a lot of me being in other people's business - haha. I honestly haven't missed it at all. I keep up with friends who don't live nearby with email and gchat in addition to twitter

I'm just tired of how 'junky' its gotten, i.e., people sharing spam, videos, and those "Share It To Win It!" posts. My whole feed is clogged with advertising.

I had it but honestly it took up too much of my time and caused way too much drama with people I know, so I got rid of it in early February.
I feel like people are using it to use cryptics to say something to someone, without actually having a conversation and saying it to their faces, and I can't handle stuff like that.
If you have something to tell me, TELL ME!

Thanks for reminding me, I needed to do a friend purge! I really hate how FB has become, but it's also the only way I can keep in touch with my extended family, so I keep it. I deleted my twitter ages ago, and I just went and trimmed down my FB friend list because really, I don't need all these people from HS looking at my baby pictures!

I dot have it.
I can't find a way to balance y free time & privacy with FB so it was best I nixed it.
dH has one but he has like 2 photos and I know he only has it to check up on his employees and stuff.

i had a facebook account about 3 or 4 years ago, but only kept it for a few months before deleting it. i wasn't that into it--i know i gave up some benefits (easy way to get in touch with people), but i wasn't that into it. i don't have twitter or instagram either--guess i prefer being a hermit!

Not any more. I was spending too much time on it. It was nice to keep in touch with family out of state, but I can write or call if we really want to keep in touch (: I have has one since early January.

ME!! I've actually never had an account until recently when I signed up to get a coupon code (using a new email address). I hate drama and the annoying stories I hear from other people about what gets posted on FB is enough for me to stay away forever.
I do miss out on a lot (like, sometimes we miss parties or get plans mixed up) because neither DH or I are on FB.. Ah well.

My husband and I don't have facebook, and we have a few friends who don't have one either. We function just fine without it

I wanted to leave my family life off of Facebook. I found myself constantly comparing myself to people I went to high school and college with and feeling unsuccessful compared to them. I deactivated my account shortly after LO was born and don't regret it one bit.

Both my husband and I don't have it.
I thought I would miss it, but its actually liberating! I absolutely love not having a facebook!
It can become like a horrible train wreck addiction. No need to check it constantly, or get wrapped up in peoples nonsense or people to nose into your business. I have zero regrets and now I make an effort to personally call or e-mail family and friends.
And all those acquaintances, old flames, people of the past you think your staying on to "keep in touch" *cough* stalk *cough* with, don't really matter
If you are worth their time and vice versa, they will go out of there way to talk to you and interact beyond facebook.

I have a facebook but I only get on when people say "go look at xyz on FB!". I'll announce pregnancy there because I have extended family far away, buuut that's it.
I have IG and just made a Twitter this week.

I don't have an FB...I never have. Like @sammyfab I do miss out on stuff at times, but the drama that comes along with social networking sites like FB is just not worth it to me.
