Yes, I do. Some days more than others. Some days not at all. But I do wish that I had just taken 3 months and gone back. I would have liked to see what working and being a mom was like before making a decision.
I actually was never sure that I wanted to stay home, but I was in a contract position without maternity leave - so it made sense to quit and try to get back in later or find something new when the time was right. Now for many reasons I'm kicking myself. I still don't think I want to stay home indefinitely. BUT with him being 6 months now and spring/summer just around the corner, I'm becoming more and more glad I did!
I just keep in touch with old colleagues and hope that when I'm 100% ready something will be available.

No regrets here. I did go back to work initially (when DS was 14 weeks) and I was happy at first. I worked for a law firm so I was hauling my breast pump to the courthouse and back (that quickly became annoying). I also missed DS terribly. It was awful for me to leave him in the morning and come home to only see him for a couple of hours before bed. My paycheck was also going to his care so it just wasn't worth it to me. Here I was working to pay a stranger to watch/spend time with my child. I missed his rolling over and crawling. When he was almost 10 months I left my job to stay home. He is 22 months now and I'm 9 months pregnant. It's not always fun but I LOVE it!

I quit my job to be a SAHM with the understanding that I would start looking for a job when LO was 6 months because we could only afford a year. I absolutely do not regret it, only that I couldn't take longer, but I really hated my job and considered quitting when I was 7 months pregnant anyway.

ETA - I also do not regret going back to work because I like my new job, being able to contribute to our retirement savings and getting a break from my toddler.

I have no regrets but I also did not love my job. I didn't hate it and liked my coworkers but I often felt that by doing the work I was doing was just wasting hours of my life. Now I have some distance and perspective I can see it was absolutely for the best. I'm pretty sure I could find a new job easily but have decided that I am going to pursue something more meaningful, which means more school. I am so happy with this plan and honestly if I hadn't left work to sah it probably would never have been an option.

I quit because my son struggled at daycare. I made more than enough to cover two kids in daycare. However, with my son struggling and my job being extremely demanding did not go well together. I don't miss work at all. I do plan on doing somethjng fun once all kids are in school, like aerobics instructor.

@NovBaby1112: what about just cutting back your hours if you are unsure? I stopped working fridays and found a daycare that doesn't charge me full time and love it, its a perfect balance.

I don't regret it. I was getting to the end of my rope at my job and my salary would have gone towards daycare - which made absolutely no sense to me. I'm so happy I get to spend the days with M and witness all of her firsts. I think when she goes to school I'd like to do something non-stressful part time. I also volunteer and do some freelance writing, therefore I don't feel completely separated from the "professional" world.

Not at all but I never had a job I loved. I find staying at home way harder than any job I ever had but also way more fulfilling. I do miss bringing in my own money though and it can make things rough with my husband sometimes even though I wouldn't make much more than daycare.

@NovBaby1112: I went back when LO was about 8 months, which was earlier than I wanted but a good opportunity came my way, so I went ahead and took it. I'm glad I did, because with the drop in oil prices, there has been a slow-down in hiring in my city.

I took an extended maternity leave for my 2nd (7 months) due to medical reasons. SAH was/is not for me, but I was able to switch to part time!
