We are heading to a baby show at the convention center here on Saturday and I'm wondering if it's possible to nurse in the ergo? Has anyone done it? How? Tips please!!!

Yes, I did once! He was low in the ergo and I just pulled out my boob and he latched on pretty well. He was about three months at the time. Good luck!

I have a few times but only sitting down. I just got LO as low as possible and I was wearing a buttondown so that was easy enough. She's pretty distracted nursing in public so personally I'm not comfortable walking around because I'd have to be adjusting all the time. Sitting down though, the ergo provides nice coverage and lets me be mostly hands free.

yup! I have! YOu basically need to adjust the shoulder straps to drop your LO down so that your boob can get into her mouth. It's not tough--I usually end up holding my boob in his mouth so it doesn't slip out.

You just have to adjust so your LO is lower. For me, I have to sit the waist a little lower on my hips. Weird as it may sound, I actually use a clean cloth diaper and roll it up under my boob to help prop it up, so I don't have to hold it. I've actually *hiked* with E set up this way, although, to be fair, he usually falls asleep within 15 minutes and I'm able to readjust everything!

Yep, i lower the ergo and just make sure i wear a shirt that i can yank down quite easily. I'll throw a light muslin blanket over her so no nips peek out from the side. I do it all the time, one time i did it while walking down the street in Cuba!

Once or twice, but she was 13+ months old. It was awkward and I had to really manipulate my body to make it work. And, my sisters were with me and could tell me if things were hanging out for the world to see.
