since we're having a boy, DH is excited to have a "mini me." a lot of the clothes we've been gifted and a few pieces we've bought ourselves are def miniature versions of DH's go-to style pieces

He doesn't really care all that much, but he hates headbands and bows, so LO doesn't have any. I'm okay with that, though.

Nope. If he doesn't like a style or something, he tells me. Mostly he is go with the flow, though. I guess he has a say in what we spend on her clothes since we have a joint account.

He prefers that I not buy/dress him in cartoon brand/logo shirts (no Disney, for example) except the Muppets (because DH loves the Muppets). It's fine for now, because I tend to prefer that as well, but it'll probably change when DS is a little older and asks for things like Batman shirts or whatnot.

DH picks out LO's clothes for the day a few days a week. Usually his outfits are pretty cute; though sometimes they don't match. I don't have the heart to tell him on the days they don't match!

Yup, my husband will sometimes shop for their clothes and dresses them on the weekends. My husband has eclectic taste in clothes so it's cute what he comes up with.

Eh, not really. I do try and take note when he tells me that he likes what she's wearing though. Like, he LOVES rompers and one-piece outfits.

I already pick out mini-DH outfits for my nephews so I'm sure we would both dress a son like him. When I was babysitting my nephew I dressed him, then looked down and realized DH pretty much had the exact same outfit (khakies, polo shirt, zip up hoodie, not that original).
If we had a girl I do think I'd pretty much do whatever I wanted then.

NOPE. the hubs would dress in free t-shirts and basketball shorts or sweats every day if he could. which means if lil' cb's wardrobe was left to the hubs, he'd be in mismatched t-shirts and sweats/elastic waist shorts all the time. no thank you.

Yes he likes picking out his clothes! He used to tell me I dressed him too babyish. Goodbye little sweet know sweaters!

No. He's colorblind, so he can't pick out a matching outfit.

Because we have a boy and I am more stylish: DH let's me have free range.
I buy most of DHs clothing.
If we had a girl then he would be all over that...I know our little girl will be daddy's little girl & I'll have to sneak in any short skirts and dresses hehe

He's pretty stylish so I expect he'll have an opinion. So far we've really only bought one piece sleepers in yellow or green since we don't know what we're having. Once we do have the baby he will probably be in charge of running out to buy some clothes. I trust him to make wise decisions.

My husband gets DD dressed every morning, and he dresses DS maybe once a week, so he picks out their outfits by himself all the time. Of course, I really don't care what the kids are wearing, so long as it's weather-appropriate and clean.

He can have a say but he rarely has an opinion on her clothes. He hates hot pink and black combos but I don't like those either!
Oh, he dressess LO in undershirts before any tank style dresses...lol!

My DH doesn't have a style. He wears sneakers, jeans, and t-shirts. So, I dress up LO. It's funny because some days he actually tries to look nicer to look more like LO.

Yup but I get final say.
DH has good style - he wears dress pants, dress shirt and sweater/vest each day to work. He always looks spiffy. Even on his days off, he wears a dress shirt or a polo.
DS is a mini-me for sure - I love dressing him in jeans, dress up shirt and a vest. Or layer a thermal over a dress shirt. Cords or trousers are super cute too! I love dressing him up - it's so fun!!

@TurtleDoves: haha "sneak in short skirts" I love it...

Oh goodness no.
We have a girl and if it were up to him, she would be completely mis-matched all the time.
Last time he dressed her he put her in a floral summer romper (in October) with striped tights underneath, a totally mismatched beanie and watermelon Vans on her feet. SERIOUSLY?

I asked DH about this topic when Mr.Bee posted "Charlie as a hipster" and he agreed, he doesn't really care. But the ONE thing he does want since we're having a little girl, is to have her ears pierced and to buy her lil' diamond studs! I think DH would love anything really girly!

He doesn't really care how she dresses. He loves when I dress her cute though
