Does everyone have a Sophie??
Is it really that amazing? I almost feel like NOT getting one just because everyone has one! haha
But if it's so awesome I don't want M to miss out!

I didn't understand the hype at first, but it really is a great toy. My little guy loves to chew on her ears and mouth and the legs are the perfect size for him to hold on to. Sophie was one of the first toys he could hold on his own. She is his girlfriend.

I registred for one, I showed my mom and told her that every raves about it and her response "that is the creepiest looking thing I have ever seen!" haha

We have one and my LO likes it but I think he could live without it. He actually fell asleep on the couch hugging Sophie one morning!

We definitely registered for one after hearing so many rave reviews. I don't know that I would buy one if we didn't get it gifted to us though.

I swore up and down we wouldn't get one because I couldn't see spending $20 on something she would chew on.... I broke down and got one for her because she hated all other teethers.
Verdict? She loves it.

haha - a Sophie was the first thing our baby received as a gift!
My girlfriends and I have made it a habit of buying each other a Sophie when we get to the second trimester as a little baby gift.
From what I hear from friends kids LOVE sophie!

we dont have one. I have been thinking about it a lot. I read somewhere about how the legs were some type of choking hazard but everyone seems to be ok with it. I am still on the fence about this

Unfortunalty any Sophie the girafes that we have in our house will be for my fourlegged son...he found one once on a walk and loves it...he is a lazy litle boy and it is just about the only toy he will play with....we have found a few and yes he got one from Santa for christmas...he is too cute with them...he has a collection of about 4 or 5...

We do. DS loves Sophie! I registered for one but didn't get it. I used my registry completion and bought it myself.

We have one but my daughter doesn't really care for it. I also read about the choking hazard so I don't give it to her often (which might be why she doesn't love it). If you want to read about the choking hazard, read the reviews on amazon.

We have both the the regular Sophie and the ring teether. Both were gifts but she is only 6 weeks old so we haven't tried them yet.

I registered for one and got TWO! So we have one and now my cousin's LO has one too. So far (3.5 months) it's not his favourite toy, but he has chewed on the head a bit.

We never got one. Honestly, neither DD nor DS really like teething toys; they much prefer to chew on cloth items (washcloths, blankets, etc...).
