Not 40 mins but 10 maybe? I have found that my DD likes to chat while pooping so now I leave the room and then come back and voila! she went while I was gone!
Is she constipated?

@Mamaof2: I don't think so because the poops are soft and she eats a lot of fiber...but I'm not really sure!
I think it is a stall tactic.

Not yet! He starts saying "poop!" When he has to go...gets on potty and gets the job done.
