Do you always get your kiddo a special birthday outfit for their big day/party?
Admittedly, I did with my first....but R basically wears all of his big brother's hand me downs....and I'm considering throwing him in a "new" but handmedown outfit for his birthday. #firstworldproblems

DD has two outfits; 1 for her actual birthday and one for her birthday party. I'd totally be okay with putting #2 in hand me down if the size/season is right!

No. I think it's because he's a boy and couldn't care less about clothing. Actually, this past birthday I got him a new t-shirt that said "I am Three," but it was just a t-shirt and he wore old shorts.

Not always new but typically new to us. I buy a lot of secondhard clothes.

Yes. I would do hand me downs any other day of the year but birthdays are about making the birthday boy/girl feel special and I think a new outfit is part of that.

Both of my LOs have birthdays coming up soon. I don't think I'll buy any new outfits specifically for their birthday. They have enough clothes as it is.

well we haven't had #2's birthday yet but she will get a new outfit for the theme, DD1 always gets new outfits (or at least a new shirt)

This is something I never even thought about, to be honest. My son won't wear "special occasion" clothes at all, like a button down shirt, no way.

No, I buy him a lot of nice clothes and I didn't feel like he needed another outfit. Last year I bought one outfit that was for his birthday party and for school pictures.

H has too many clothes as is. So no. Plus he will probably get some new outfits from family for his bday
