Aside from the occasional car snooze, DS does not regularly take naps. He dropped his last one just before his 3rd bday back in November.
My mom was concerned that he should still be napping, but he sleeps 12/13 overnight now and was a bear waking up from his one 1.5 hour nap. Works better for us (and him!)

My 3 yo is still a pretty great napper. At school it's 1.5-2 hours. At home 2-3 although he often skips Saturdays...

Interested - DS1 is 2.5 and we're not sure if he's ready to drop his nap. Anytime he does take it it's a nightmare to put him to bed for the night...

Always when at home! Not so much when he is at my moms. On school days I can tell he really needs it and will sometimes fall asleep in the car when I pick him up from my moms, but that's happening less frequently. Our pediatrician just impressed upon us that 3 years olds should still be napping so now DH is fanatical about it

I wish! she will occasionally crash on the couch if she had a bad night, or doze in the car (what it is about the car?!). but she generally sleeps 6/630 to 5 now.

We have strict nap rules. He can only nap for 1-1.5 hours and has to be awake before 3:30 otherwise he will not fall asleep at night time for hours (he's been up until 11-12). We skip nap if he doesn't fall asleep before 2-2:30 and it makes night time a little harder but he falls asleep so fast at bedtime.

He always naps at school but only sometimes takes a nap on the weekends. He will be 4 in two months.

Only at school. He'll nap 2 hours at school (and has to be woken up at the end), but refuses to nap at home.

At school only, and then only sometimes. If everyone is sleeping, LO will too.

we are in the same boat right now! If DS doesnt nap he is asleep by 6pm and misses dinner, bath etc. If he does nap he is often still awake in his room when i get home from work around 10pm. Not sure what the solution is!

Yep! On the weekends about 1.5-2 hours. I think she naps less at school though

She still naps for two hours at 3.5 yrs old.
She can def sleep it bc I kind of force her too but she'll get cranky if she does skip it

My 3 yr old naps every day from 1-2:30. Sometimes it's just quiet time, but not usually. Bed time is 8, and she reads with her flashlight until 8:30/9. She wakes around 7.

At school, yes. But then she has trouble going to sleep at night. On the weekends, she does not, and goes right to sleep at 8.

3.5 next month and he still takes a 1-1.5 hr nap everyday. There have probably only been a handful of times in his life that he has skipped it. He only sleeps 10 hours/night though, so he needs it.

At 3 they no longer do naps at school, so he would (and still does) take them on the weekends or during vacation.

Yes. She loves her naps. She tells us around 11am that she is getting tired so she should probably eat lunch and then take her nap.

No. He gave it up a few months before 3. Hell nap in the car if we are on a long trip, but that's it. He is 3 years 7 mos.

Yes, usually 2-2.5 hrs, at school and home. He usually only sleeps 10-10.5 hrs a night, though.

No she dropped it in Nov about a month shy of 3. But she did sleep 1.5 hr in the car today due to a restless sleep last night.

Nope. We cut her nap before she turned 3 because she would sleep horribly otherwise. Sleep has gotten a lot better since then. But she sometimes naps during the weekend (usually in the car), but it almost always means a delayed bedtime, so we try to avoid it.

Char is 3.5 and naps 3 hours a day, everyday. I count my lucky stars everyday for that!

Yes, LO 3 was born when my oldest was 3.5 and she still took a nap. She is 4 and naps are getting shorter but she still likes taking one.
