I. am. shocked. My company just started matching up to 3% of our 401k. It's something I've been pushing for since we got a 401k plan in 2008. It's not much but it's better than nothing, which is what we were getting before!

Mine matches and you are immediately 100% vested which is sweet.

I'm not great at remembering these kinds of details, but I think they match 8%? Although, you start off at like 4%. I've been here a long time.

They have one, but don't match. They do, however, have a completely employer funded pension plan you're enrolled in after a year of employment

My company matches up to 6%. Recently, my company added a 401k IRAs.

Mine puts a % in the 401k regardless of what the employee does so it isn't really a match.

@MrsH: This is how mine is. I think they put 14.5%? I'd need to double check.

Mine doesn't match, but they give us 22% regardless of what we contribute. They are good to us!

Matches 100% up to 20%. After that, it tapers down. So I always do 20%

They match 50% of the first 4%, after 5 years they match 100% of the first 4%. At least it's something!

I have a 401k but no match. I work at a start up and we won't have a match until we go public.

@blackbird: Holy shit, that's amazing.
Mine matches up to 3%, I think?

It matches and provides an end of year bonus. I actually didn't know that until this year when I was working on my 401K paperwork and planning out contributions. I was shocked! I'm not longer benefits eligible, but that's short-term and it really motivates me to stay with this company even when I graduate.

Yup up to 4%. It's a nice perk.
Some of you ladies have really generous ones!

Mine matches and increases the amount based on how long you're there. Currently they match 100% of 5%. I believe it goes up to 200% of 5%.

We have a 401k with a discretionary match. I have been there 3 years and they still haven't decided to kick anything in.
