My dad actually does most of the cooking these days because he gets home from work earlier than my mom does. Dad is 100% Greek and he's a really good cook! And, he actually enjoys it. My mom is a good cook, but she doesn't get a whole lot of enjoyment out of it so it's a good set up for them.
Other than grilling I've never seen my FIL cook.

My dad does a lot of cooking for him and my mom these days, but when I was growing up, my mom mostly did the cooking.

@MamaMoose: I'm really jealous of the food you probably ate growing up.

yes my dad cooked regularly! which is unusual for korean men of his generation. my dad did all the cooking involving meat, but he can cook a lot of different things. still my mom was definitely the main cook in our household.

My dad used to work as a chef, so he can cook, however he doesn't, as that is what his wife is for! (His words, not mine)
My father in law can cook, he always makes us a big breakfast when we go visit.

My dad didn't really cook much growing up and when he did cook, he burned it. Now he cooks quite a bit and has become really good at it. He's started taking cooking classes at a local shop in town with other men and he's really loving it. My mom is still the primary cook though but not for long since she'll be leaving for 13 weeks for work.
My FIL does all the grilling and makes the breakfasts for the family.

My Dad did cook, it just wasn't very good or very often. FIL has a housekeeper that cooks all his meals.

My dad's the cook/chef in the house, and he's freaking awesome at it!!! My mom can't cook, but can marinade meat like a boss. I miss my dad's home cooking since I've moved away and wish I could replicate his recipes.
FIL doesn't cook.

My dad makes some of my favorite meals on the planet. He lived in Louisiana for close to 20 years, and lives there again now, ao he's really good with spicy gumbo, etc. He's also a master on the grill and makes my favorite nachos and burritos. Everytime he comes to visit I make him cook for me! My FIL cooks on the grill and steams lobster. I have never seen him do anything else cooking wise.

My dad had 2 meals he could make: mac & cheese mixed with hamburger or sloppy joe's, otherwise he was in charge of the grill and kept out of the kitchen! My FIL probably doesn't know how to turn the stove on (no joke!) haha he has not cooked a meal in his lifetime.

My dad is an amazing cook! My mom is also a great cook so they were pretty split in the cooking. My dad loves to eat so he loves to cook as well.

Both do! My Dad and Mom cook together most nights. Growing up Mom did most since Dad traveled some for work. The grill is always his job though. When we go visit the inlaws, FIL does most, if not, all the cooking. Step-MIL doesn't cook much at all. But she pours a good glass of wine!

My dad cooked when we were growing up, but it wasn't anything terribly elaborate or involved - mac and cheese, spaghetti with meat sauce, hamburgers, chicken patties, etc. My parents split and my mom's remarried, and my step-dad tries to help in the kitchen but I think mostly just gets in my mom's way, hee hee.

Both my dad and stepdad cook. One of our family's favorite recipes was a creation my dad made.

Other than grilling my dad never cooks! He used to burn toast when he'd have to feed us breakfast lol.
My FIL is a really good cook! He and my MIL are divorced and he never remarried so he's had to fend for himself for a long time.

My mom and dad both cooked, my stepmom almost never did, and more often than not MIL and FIL cook together.

my mom cooked more when i was growing up, now my dad cooks more because he's home from work before her. FIL does not cook. at all. ever. he doesn't do anything around the house- not even mowing the lawn or shoveling, she does that too. i guess if they're both okay with it, whatever, but that would never fly with me & DH!!

My dad grills and makes breakfast. That's about it. I don't think my FIL has cooked a day in his life.
