DH has a bachelor wknd up north to celebrate one of our groomsman's upcoming nuptials. He wasn't planning on going, but I told him to go! We can't make it to the wedding (local destination wedding on 4th of july wknd) and I'm glad he'll be able to be there for at least a portion of the wedding festivities!
He's excited for a wknd of golfing/fishing/drinking with his old friends he hasn't seen in a while 
He also does a camping trip with his BFF around their birthdays (a week apart) annually!

Sort of - he flew to CA to visit our godson and spent the weekend with him since on our last family trip to CA we didn't have time to visit.
My husband doesn't do things like fish, golf, etc. so those types of getaways are not really applicable to him. He and his friends go and see Marvel movies together when they come out, and go to lunch or drinks after, if that counts

My husband has a guys' hiking weekend in Colorado over labor day weekend. He didn't plan it as a dadcation, but his friends are all going and he missed the last hiking trip so I said he should go.
When I told him he should definitely go, he was surprised that I was so enthusiastic about him being gone on a 3 day weekend which would normally be used to do something fun as a family...
But little does he know that I have a friend getting married this next year and a girls' trip is already in the works so I will have my "payback". MUAHHAHAHAH

DH just went on a golfing trip with 11 other guys a couple weeks ago. They rented a huge lake cabin and hit up a couple different courses in the western part of the state.

He's only been a dad for 11 weeks... So not yet! But he's palming a long weekend golf trip with buddies at the end of June! He deserves it.. He works very hard for us!

@mrsjyw: DH just did one last weekend. He went to NOLA for a bachelor party. He's in the wedding. I solo parented, but went up to my parents for the weekend with LO. LO got a double ear infection, so it was exhausting.

DH loves fishing, and I get sea-sick so I never go with him and that becomes his alone man time!

Nope! He refuses to leave DS for any length of time....sometimes I have to beg for date nights, lol. I wish he would though, he deserves some fun guy time!

We don't have kids, but my husband usually does a couple of guys trips per year, including a longer golf one every fall.

DH does a 4 day golf trip with a bunch of guys every fall. He also goes to visit his parents for a long weekend about once a year.

Not really a dadcation, but every Tuesday evening from 6pm-10pm and Saturday afternoons, he plays on a tennis league. He loves and breathes tennis. He'll also sub for a player on a Thursday night league if they can't make it.
Couple months ago, he went on a hunting trip with some friends for 3 days.

He goes to Nascar races twice a year for the day... nothing too exciting though!
I'm trying to convince him to go to the lake by himself this summer for a week with his family. I can't go (8.5 months pregnant) and it's his only time to hang out with his brother, so I'm trying to make him go without me and L.

Not yet but I would be ok with it.
Although I do think he sort of gets one every week. Travels for work, so he gets to sleep without a monitor and gets to go out drinking and to dinners with colleagues and friends that are in town for work.

Nope. He's pretty antisocial and is a homebody, so he'd rather me just give him a few hours to play video games

Yea, he went to Seattle for a wedding all by himself and it was like a big ol' college reunion, two bachelor parties this year, and I think he has another one coming up. I need a momcation!

No but he takes nice business trips so they sort of count. And not a big deal if he wants to take one.
