DH came home tonight with this year's Hess Truck for the Trikester. At one month, he obviously can't appreciate it, but apparently DH means to start a collection/make it a Christmas tradition. Cute.
Does your DH ever buy presents for LO on his own?

Only if we are at the store together he will pick some things out, or suggest things. He rarely goes to the store on his own though.

nope..haha. maybe once she's bigger and things aren't as nuts at work..he never goes to the store to begin with lately

The only thing I can think of is a stuffed basketball after a doctors apt where we found out lo was off the charts tall so he thought he should start he basketball training.

DD is 2 1/2 and DH picked out a whole bunch of presents for her on his own; only told me what he got her after it was bought and had arrived (he online shops). DS is 3months and DH is relying on me to get all of his gifts. I don't recall DH buying anything for DD last Christmas or her birthdays.

only books! and a gruffalo puzzle which Charlie adores.

Everything we've bought so far has been purchased together but I suspect as she gets older he'll take a more proactive role

I had a family tradition when I was growing up. My dad would get my sister and I a piece of Jewelery for christmas eve. It was our one special present for christmas eve and we would usually wear it to church that night. (my dad still does this with us). I wanted to keep that tradition with my kids but we had to change it up a little since we have boys and girls. I am responsible for picking for our sons and my husband has to buy something for our daughter. It is the one christmas gift he picks out himself.
