My family does. I don't mind because it gives me at least 30 extra min to finish up stuff at work.

my parents live in the area and while they have offered to do daycare pick-up, it would take about 1 hour roundtrip on a highway during DC area rush hour so it's not that convenient. they would probably love to, though, i just haven't taken them up on it because i don't think they realize it's kind of a pain.

My parents love to pick up DD but they won't pick up DS. They say they can handle one kid but not 2. They go to the same school. It doesn't help me if they only pick up one since I still have to go get the other!

No, they're not close enough. I don't even really let DH do it either.
