They do, but it doesn't mean that they will change it to a time to accomodate us better, lol.

Mine does. I'm a teacher, so they usually visit on my breaks or summer vacation.
And the school calendar where I live now is very different from the one where my family lives, so they always double check to make sure my school is actually on break!
