Do you or your SO have brothers, sisters, parents or other relatives that live nearby? If not, how far away is your family?

We are the only ones in our city. DH has his mom, siblings and extended familyy about two hours away so we have gone up a few times since LO arrived and a few people have come down for short visits. My family is in the midwest but my mom has spent a lot of timme out here since she is retired. It has been harder than i thought so she has been a huge help. It makes me think about moving closer to her before LO #2...

My family is an hour away and DH's parents live 5 minutes from us.

We live in Tokyo and all of our immediate family live in the States. I do have an aunt who lives near us, just outside of tokyo and another aunt in Hiroshima. All of DH's aunts and uncles are in Germany.

Both of our parents are 15-30 minutes away. My brother and sil are 5 minutes away. Love having everyone so close!
My sister is far away but she visits a lot. My bil is 2 hours away.

Both of our parents live 20-25 minutes away, my brother lives 5 minutes away, and my BIL lives downtown, 40 minutes away, I'm really happy to have our families close.

My immediately family lives about an hour away. Hubs family lives further, but only two hours tops. So we're pretty close.
I really like being close to my family. I hang out with my brother a lot (every other weekend usually), and I try to see my parents every other month (though more around holidays and birthdays).
We don't really see my husband's family much though, even though they're almost as close. My husband just isn't that close to his family, so unless they invite us over (which they hardly ever do), we just don't see them.

*sniffles* no. Both sets of parents live out of state. We do have DH's brother and aunt close by though.

In-laws and my parents live about 3 miles apart from each other in our hometown (we didn't meet until we were adults though)... and DH & I are about 20 minutes away from them both. My younger brother lives in the concrete jungle... and wish he lived here!!!!

None of our family is near by. My husband's family is 4 hours away and mine is 16 hours away.

I wish I was closer to my family! We're about 10 hours away from everyone on my side.
DH has five of his sisters, his dad, and a boatload of nieces and nephews and their kids within a few minutes of us and his mom is about two hours away. -
parents and bro are about 25 minutes away....the ILs are about 50 minutes away (assuming no traffic) - they're in jersey.

Our immediate families are 3,000 miles away. I have an aunt, uncle and cousins around that live 20-60 mins away though.
In-laws and my parents live about 3 miles apart from each other in our hometown (we didn't meet until we were adults though)... and DH & I are about 20 minutes away from them both. My younger brother lives in the concrete jungle... and wish he lived here!!!!
