Yes. We have a great room with an outlet in the middle. In made hardwood floor install a pain. Luckily we keep it covered with a rug.

Yup, more than half of our apartment is floor to ceiling windows so the floor outlets are very much needed! We have to lock the ones LO can access...

No but I really wish we had them in our living room so I wouldn't have to stick the floor lamp in the corner.
