Baby girl will only take Soothies. We've tried many, but she won't take another kind!
She also won't drink from Tommee Tippee bottles. We've had good luck with Avent bottles, though.

LO 1 liked Nuk pacifiers (first 3 months) and Mam bottles.
LO 2 liked Tommee Tippee bottles and Soothies pacifiers the first month.

DD only likes Soothies, and now has a strange preference for her elephant (Ellie) Wubanub over her giraffe (Gigi). Weirdo.
We only ever used Dr. Brown's bottles and she liked them fine.

@oliviaoblivia: LOL. Same here! She takes tommee tippee while I'm at work because it's either that or starve, but she's all about the boob. She never took a paci (which I'm now thankful for), but she has recently started liking them to chew on but not actually suck.

R never took a paci. We tried like 6 different kinds. Waste of money but I am glad that she never took to them.
She wasn't into bottles at all, but Tommee was better then the others. So we had bottle boot camp with those the weekend before day care started.

We'e only tried two kinds of bottles and he takes them both (Avent and Tommee Tippee). He will only use mam pacifiers, though.

Yup, he only takes Avent pacifiers. Hates all the other ones we tried. And he'll take Avent or Tommee Tippee bottles, which are mostly what we have, but I tried a Playtex on him the other day and he hated it.

They prefer Mam pacifiers.
They would not drink out of the Avent bottles. We switched to Dr. Browns and they loved those.

Team mam! No other pacifier will do!
Bottles, he only ever had the medela ones.

Maybe or maybe not? Xander took to Soothies and Avent bottles and we never tried anything else!

Pacifiers: Soothie, but only if there is a Wubanub attached to them. It's weird.
Bottles: Playtex Nurser

Blake will suck on anything we stick in his mouth. Alice only takes Soothies but she's luke warm on pacis in general. She much prefers the boob. We have only tried Medela bottles the hospital gave us (little 2.5 oz ones) and they take those just fine.

He never took a pacifier, but he has no bottle preference. We use Avent Naturals because they're easy to wash!

Pacifiers - any brand as long as they're the wide flat ones.
Bottles - usually only the Playtex Vent Air

She will take any bottle, but of the ones we have tried the only ones she really does WELL with (not choking, nipple not collapsing, etc) are Dr. Brown's.
She definitely prefers soothies over any other pacifier we have tried, and LOVES her giraffe wubanub best of all because she can actually hold it in place.

DS will only take 2 specific soothies....we've tried giving him brand new ones of the same brand and he knows they aren't *his* 2 soothies. It's so bizarre. My mom has a couple at her house and he won't take those either, he will literally only take 2 particular soothies. I don't know they get "broken in" or what.

She would take NUK pacies...occasionally. Gave them up at 6 months.
She preferred Tommee Tippee bottles, which is the 2nd one we tried. We started with Medela and she was too gassy, need a wider nipple.

@gilmoregirl: ugh
@petunia354: bizarre! How do they come up with these things?! It's like they're real people or something

When she was a newborn she only wanted soothies/Wubbanubs. Now she wants nothing to do with any of it!
Bottles she isn't picky and will take any kind

@LovelyPlum: Seriously! How dare he have preferences for things?!

DS took the NUK pacifiers until about 8 weeks old and Avent bottles.
DD would only take Soothies and then only Mam. She would only take the Medela bottle even though we tried 5 or 6 different brands. After 10 weeks, only boob.
honeydew / 7091 posts
Yes, one that is IN her mouth!
Even my daycare lady who has watched dozens of babies grow up commented on how she never saw a baby more obsessed with drinking/eating

D wouldn't take anything other than a Soothie paci. For bottles we only tried Tommee Tippee, and he took it, so we stuck with it.
eggplant / 11716 posts
paci--mam pacis, but only the <6 months kind
bottles--Dr. Brown's were the best for her. We started with Avent naturals, then Tommy Tippee, but she didn't love either of those.

Nuk pacifiers - they were the only one she could keep in her mouth when she was a newborn - Wubanubs are for chewing on
we only ever tried the medela bottles - i subscribe to the KISS method whenever possible we had them, she took them, we never looked back
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
she only ever took soothies, so we didn't bother trying any others (that was what we had already anyway).
bottles, she took the medela/evenflo (same nipple fits both) for awhile but when I stopped pumping and bottle feeding, she rebelled against ANY bottle, ever again.
