Yup, my DD never took a pacifier. Never took a bottle either so like you said think they are probably related.

Chloe took one a few times, but was perfectly find without one. She used to pull them out of her mouth at night and throw them under the crib.

So.. I threw them away.

M never took a paci. I have a ton of unopened ones that I'll probably try to sell on the Classifieds. She took a bottle from 6-12 weeks then went on a bottle strike until I went back to work when she was 5.5 months...talk about stressful!

The not taking a paci thing was a pain in the beginning but now I am glad she never took one. I don't have to go in and put it back when it falls out of her mouth and we don't have to worry about weaning her from it. So it worked out in our favor!

my lo never took one. gave me a funny look every time i tried and spit it out.

LO would never take a pacifier. She would get upset when there was no milk!

Mine did, but not until he was 6 months old, when we transitioned him into his crib. He's 18 months now, and would suck on one all day long now if we'd let him (we only let him have it when he's sleeping).

Mine used to give me this look of "what the hell is that"? every time I tried. It was annoying at the time, but it forced me to come up with other soothing methods, so it's awesome now.

DS has never taken one. He switches fine between bottles and boob though, he gets mad at pacis bc nothing comes out!

My first two did, our third does not. She likes to suck on her fingers

DD took it once in awhile up to 8 weeks and then completely stopped

We never tried with LO!shes 6m now and I wonder what her reaction would be if I gave it to her. She'd likely just try to eat it, like everything else!

DD never took to a paci. She found her fingers at 4.5 months though and I love those dang fingers!!

LO never took to pacifier which I'm happy about because I only offered it a few times in desperation.

She has no issues taking a bottle though.

B never took a pacifier. Kid sucks on his own tongue for comfort. I have no idea how he does it, it is so bizarre looking!

Never! It just made her more angry.

DD never took to one! When we tried to give her one to calm her down early on, it made her even more pissed off. We tried a few brands and I gave up when she turned 6 weeks.
