My son is 12 weeks and just won't take a pacifier! He acts like it gags him, and we've tried several different kinds. I'm not going to force it, of course, and if he never takes a paci it means we'll never have to wean him off of it, so that's nice. I just sometimes wish he would take one because he often wakes himself up by breaking out of his swaddle to suck on his fingers, and if he was into a pacifier maybe he wouldn't do that (though then I'm sure he'd just wake up whenever his paci fell out!).
Anyway, this isn't a complaint; it never occurred to me that my baby just wouldn't take a pacifier! Anyone else?
I also think this is related to him so far refusing the bottle, too (spitting the nipple out, gagging, being disinterested, etc.) but that's a whole other annoying issue of course...
