Mrs. Bee's post today reminded me of how Charlie learned to say "please" and "thank you" for everything from his nanny. Bee and I never would have come up with that one on our own.

That's been one of the greatest gifts ever, because a polite boy makes parenting so much more bearable! Especially in the beginning when he couldn't pronounce please so it came out as, "pwease". How can you say no to a cute little boy saying, "pweaaaaaase?" Over time we had to learn though, because he quickly learned how effective politeness can be at getting your way!

Does your little one say "please" and "thank you"? How about "sorry" when they do something naughty?
