Olive just walked up to me all serious and said, "Daddy, I don't like Brainiac. I like Superman." Then she walked away, like she had won a big debate with me or something.
She likes to drop these little insights on me from time to time - no idea why. Her brother doesn't offer nearly as many random thoughts to us... she's in a class by herself!
Does your LO announce random things to you from time to time?

My LO will bring up something she probably dreamed about in conversation like, "remember when the alligator was chasing me?" She has a hard time distinguishing dreams from reality and gets annoyed when I don't have the same memories haha.
She also announced to DH and I at a hotel breakfast table over the summer: "I want you guys to make me a baby TODAY."

Last year my son would say "I'm going to Paris to buy a new tree, a new leaf and candles for the happy birthday". He would say it ALL the time and I have no idea where it came from.
