If DD wakes up crying in the middle of the night, we will go in after about 10 min to check on her. Without fail, she always cries harder when she finally sees us. It's sad and kind of funny at the same time.

ds only cries like crazy when he's hungry so once he gets a bottle or boob he's happy.

Yes, definitely!! It's not so much that he cries harder when I go in to check on him but when I leave the room.

Yes. That's why we ended up using extinction sleep training. He would act so mad and betrayed when we did our "checks"
