My DD is 7.5 months and every single time she hears her brother cry, she starts wailing! Even if my son whimpers, she looks at me and starts pouting her bottom lip. It really makes things hard at night when I''m putting him to bed. He usually whines about putting on his PJs, which wakes her up in a full out cry. Happens every single night!
Is this just a phase? Did/does your LO do this too?

he's gone as far as the pouty lip, but i've caught it early enough to where he doesn't start crying. he's only 3.5 months tho, so he gets pouty at any unexpected loud noise.

She doesn't cry cry, but she'll make a cry noise if she hears a toddler throwing a fit in a store. It's more of a fake cry, imitating a fake cry sound though.

She did when she was little but now she kind of just stares at kids that are crying like she's wondering what's wrong with them and why they're so loud.

No, my LO is 10 months and she just looks at whoever is crying very curiously. When she was younger she would cry if I played a video of her crying.

@BelugaBean: LOL! cute! I hope it's just a phase because she wakes up every single night crying. And she has the craziest ears too. He can be downstairs at the opposite side of the house and she'll wake up crying over the faintest sound ever. I even have the sound machine on full blast! My mom thinks they're emotionally connected somehow like twins. haha

My LO who is 9 months old does this too with other crying babies, but only when he's grouchy/tired. It's so cute to see that quivering pouty lower lip!
