My almost 4 year old loves clean up time but it is a battle with my 2.5 year old. She always complains about a tummy ache (only during clean up time) or other excuses while her older sister tidies up. "Sorry, I need to watch the baby!" She helps out eventually but there is so much whining involved!
We have several books about cleaning and they do not help. Lol.

Sometimes! It's pretty cute actually, the daycare must sing a song to help the kids get in the spirit of cleaning up. One day he started singing "everybody clean up! everybody clean up!" I am not sure if there are more words, but I follow along now and sing the song, usually with success!

yes, my DD loves to clean up and her big brother can usually convince her to clean up his mess too

No. She pretty much ignores any request to tidy up and I have to force the issue.
