LO 1 tells me that "Katelin" at school is mean and not nice. I try to ask more questions but that doesn't go very far.

Yes, there is one he talks about that he doesn't like. It's funny, because the teachers say he plays with her and is fine, but she's a little overwhelming, I think, and he's a passive kid, so I think that's why. I don't think she is actually mean, I think she is just too much for him.

I don't know what to believe when I get a report from school. It's all over the place, from not playing with anyone, to playing with so and so...I try not to think about it too much because it doesn't bother him!

I noticed that one boy at J's school was always rough with him. J's the youngest and one of the two that stays the afternoon until 5pm. The other boy would rip toys out of J's hands, push him, etc. He never said anything other than state what this boy did. "X hit Miss H today" "X pushed me down today".
The kid was actually asked to leave the school because he was climbing furniture and throwing things, just dangerous and wouldn't listen/participate.
J asks for him every.single.day. and says he misses him!
