DD1 likes to cover her ears with stacking cups to keep the water out lol but otherwise doesn't make a fuss when I wash her hair. DD2 hates it and will hang her head over the side of the tub and I either have to force it back in or pour water all over the floor...

My son used to hate it - he freaked out when any water got on his face or in his ears. In the past few days, though, he's figured out the trick of tipping his head back and it's made a big difference.

Not at the moment, but that could change. It always has to be something... either having the hair washed or brushing teeth or just getting dressed hahah

DD just doesn't like to get the soap rinsed out... I keep trying to convince her to tip her head back so she doesn't get soap in her eyes but she thinks I am trying to drown her or something. I just dump the water on her while she tries to escape from me or wash her hair in the shower.

No, we just never made a big deal of it. Even when he was tiny, of course we didn't dump the water on his face, but we didn't shield it from some trickling. Once he was old enough to show excitement, we knew he LOVED it. We just dump water right on his head and it gushes over his face and he begs us to do it again. I do use my hand to try and push the soap back, but my husband doesn't and it doesn't seem to bother him.
He also loves going under water in the pool.
I've been told he's a weirdo on both accounts

He tends to cry throughout the bathing process....I've heard of babies loving the bath, but not my son! He's only a month old, though, so he's still in the wtf is happening state about life in general

It's always a struggle. She hates having her hair rinsed and also combed out. Bath time always evokes tears.

@MrsSCB: Mine also hated the bath until about 6-8 weeks (I can't remember) and then suddenly one day I was braced for the screams and he just didn't. We took so many pictures of it because it was the first time we enjoyed bathing him!

Max doesn't care at ALL- his sister dumps buckets of water over him all the time and he doesn't flinch. Kennedy, on the other hand, will drag it out to the very last second. She used to scream, but now she just freaks out of any trace of water gets on her face.

Yes, she does! We have a device that prevents water from going down her face; we got it after she refused to wear the hat thing.

Neither boy has a problem with it. My oldest will let me pour water over his head anytime. We have to warn the 1-year old by counting, but he loves it too!

my 2.5 year old HATES having water on his head. We keep hoping it's something he will outgrow, but it results in tears almost every time..
