R just started this morning. I have NO clue where she got it from. I just kept telling her no when she did it this morning. Her teacher said that she would watch for it today and do the same.
What else can we do?

LO does it when she has a tooth coming in. That's the only time. She stops as soon as it breaks through.

LO did for a few months after his first set of teeth but has stopped completely...

B did this for a few days and it drove me nuts! Turns out, his top incisors were coming in. As soon as they broke through he stopped.

My LO and another LO that I watch both do this when they're teething. It drives me absolutely insane. I looked into it and read that there is little chance they're doing any damage and to just wait for them to stop. Sorry, I don't have a link for that. I can't remember when I saw it.

K does it when she's teething and it is awful. Thankfully it only lasts a few days.

Maybe this means she is finally getting her molars. Been teething for a month.

@Mrs. Polish: Thanks for looking but I trust ya. Glad that it is normal. And hopefully a phase.

She started doing it a few months ago. Every once in a while she will do it and if she gets a rise out of me doing it, she keeps doing it. Ugh, it's awful.
