My mom is obsessed with getting DD a sandbox for Christmas. I know we had a good time with ours when we were growing up, but she's not even a year old yet!
How old was yours when they first started to enjoy it?

My parents want to buy LO one too...I told them to wait because she still eats sand at daycare!

We have a sand and water table. We got it for DD's first bday, and the kids all played with it at her party, but she didn't really enjoy it herself at the time. I think she started getting into it at around 18 mo. DS now likes it as well at 15 mo, but I catch him eating sand from time to time. It has easily been one of the most played with toys. We live in a mild climate so it can be used almost year round.
