My LO already has tons of skirts/shorts/sandals for the summer. I'm glad I was able to gather a good wardrobe but I still want to shop! Plus I always feel like she has enough and then I realize she needs more XYZ.

they have almost nothing. olive outgrew pretty much everything from last summer. i think charlie will fit into some of his clothes from last year though. i don't think it will be warm enough for at least another 2 months though!

She has a lot so far but she needs spring/summer shoes and PJs. Both of our moms have made sure she has lots of dresses and rompers!

I bought a TON of rompers at a consignment sale for the summer but I completely forgot about the spring! I don't even know what to buy for him for a New England spring though! AH!

Yes, thanks to the Easter Bunny (aka grandparents)! I filled out the wardrobe with some sale stuff at Gap/Old Navy, too.
He'll need PJs and some shoes, but otherwise, I think we are all set.

Yep! I got overzealous thinking it would be warm a lot earlier. So she's had all kinds of sweet spring/summer things just waiting to be worn once it is warm enough out!

@T.H.O.U.: yes! I bought a bunch of Tea clothes when they had their sale, but I need to buy her some cute summer "shoes". She's only 6 mo., but I don't want her to be barefoot all summer. So, I guess I can look forward to that.

Pretty much. She got a lot of clothes from family and friends last time we visited CA, so I think she's set. I'm thinking about getting her a birthday dress, but she needs to wear the dresses she was gifted at least once and we don't get out enough to justify a new dress. I dunno. If it's on sale ... maybe? Hehe.

I am waiting for LO's birthday before I start shopping for spring/summer. I know family and friends will buy him clothes, and I'll try to fill in the gaps when it starts to warm up.

Ummm....I have a real problem with shopping and think she pretty much has her entire summer wardrobe plus purchased. I really need to look into doing some returns. LO will start daycare full time come September (right now she is with family 4 days a week) so I am hoping this will help curb my spending habits. :\

My friend gifted my daughter her entire summer wadrobe! But of course I've been buying some cute rompers/dresses for her, still need a bit more shorts and sandals.

I feel like I am the odd one out, I do not enjoy clothes shopping for my 2 year old that much. Don't get me wrong, he has clothes and I think he looks cute, but all the stuff looks the same after a while. He also seems to wear the same kinds of things over and over, and his day care is warm, so he doesn't need much beyond long pants and a long sleeved tee.
At some point I have to do some organizing and take an inventory to see if he needs anything, but I doubt it, lol.

I love all the cute summer stuff especially for girls, but some of it is just not practical.
For example, last summer she was crawling and dresses don't work to crawl in!! This summer, she's obviously walking but they get so dirty at school, I can only send her in shorts/shirts. Dresses and rompers would get so dirty.

We are in this annoying in-between phase. They have both pretty much outgrown their winter stuff, and the next size up stuff that I have is all spring/summer. If it ever gets above 45 degrees out, I'll be ok. But for now, I'm piecing together some thrift store finds to get us through the next month or so while it's still cold out.
I do still need more summer things for both of them too....

I just went and bought my daughter a bunch of new dresses at H&M yesterday - but they're all a little big! They have the weirdest sizes, and she's such a skinny little thing.

Yes, I'm very proud of his spring/summer! But problem is, for one: it's still so cold in MI & 2: LO doesn't fit his 6-9m yet. So, we probably won't be digging Ito spring/summer for a few still:/ which sucks because he is at an awkward "3-6 doesn't fit, it's not winter yet not spring either" phase

Probably not. I have some size 12 month shorts for her and put a pair on her the other day. They're too small. We will just have to see what happens as it gets warmer and as I dress her in warmer weather clothes. I have lots of clothes for her, I'm just not sure if they will fit or not!!

I'm in Florida so LO has been in summer clothes for awhile. Today she wore a sundress 
Winter clothes for us are just summer clothes layered, with a jacket on top and leggings under dresses.
