My four year old wakes up crying about bees in her room. The other night it was a lizard. During the day she could not care any less about these things!! So bizarre. She also doesn't like heights/being off balance.
My youngest is often afraid of strangers. Ha.

Walking over thresholds into rooms.... For some odd reason, she won't just walk over it, she has to sit down and crawl over it.

Moon bears. Seriously. LO1 is obsessed. I finally figured out there was a bubble guppies show with Moon bears (who turn out to be nice), but LO has really internalized the Moon Bear concept and talks about them constantly. She says Moon Bears are in her room, etc.

My kid is only 14 months so she's still young but she's afraid of animals and men with mustaches!
We went to the zoo yesterday and she was terrified of all the statues of animals around the zoo. And she is afraid of most stuffed animals (especially the ones that have those big giant eyes). I found a pig puppet that made a grunting noise and she was so scared of it she just squatted down, hid her face, and started shaking! I felt so bad.

The dark! Just a month ago, he slept alone all thru. But now he wants someone to lay with him. His peers talk about monsters, zombies... which he has no clue about, but that must instill some uncertainty and fear about those scary things.

Halloween decorations - the skeletons/skulls/witches stuff. Its starting to creep into Australian stores, and it annoys me that I turn the corner in target and get bombarded by scary stuff.

He's not into all the halloween stuff around lately. We had to go into party store the other day and he wouldn't walk past all the masks... I didn't blame him, I hate that stuff too lol

He's a little afraid of the dark and shadows. He doesn't like going into his room by himself (although we've taught him how to turn on the light), but if he wants something badly enough he'll go in there alone. It's getting better as he's getting better with turning on the lights.
