I dressed my daughter in sneakers this morning, but she insisted I take them off and put on her gold sparkly shoes instead. She also vetoed the jacket I chose for her, and also the the hat.
The best part is that she only lets me know she doesn't like something after I put it on her. So I get the privilege of dressing her twice.

LO 2- just started getting picky and she begs for flower patterns and Elmo socks.

Just her shoes/boots; but on that point she feels VERY STRONGLY. God forbid you bring down the wrong shoes!

her shoes, always the shoes. She will wear her boots with sweatpants...looks ridiculous but she loves them.

Yes, she always refuses to wear her winter coat and insists on her raincoat. She prefers bellies (wellies) over her boots.

Only about shoes. It's amazing how strongly a 20 month old can feel about a pair of damn "choos"

Yes! More often about the shoes, she's very insistent. Somedays she will only wear princess-y dresses. She's still young enough that I can sometimes distract or redirect, but I'm giving in more and more buying stuff she picks and will wear.

Haha not yet. Right now he just shows incredible disdain for all diaper and wardrobe changes of any kind.

She fights it sometimes, but I still put it on her and then she is fine.
