R doesn't. Just books. We always just play in the living room and her mine play room (section of the office).

Nope, but we are contemplating moving the rocking chair out and making her room have a place space since it's on the same level as the living room. This would make my living room so much cleaner!

Not at the moment, nope. Same as you, just books and we play in the living room.
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
Nope, just books as well. He does bring some stuff up there, but he doesn't actually play in there.
We have a "dedicated" playroom in the house, with all his junk.

DS has the whole upstairs (two connected rooms and a bathroom) and there are toys in one of the rooms but not many. He sometimes plays before naps but not often. The toys we have up there aren't all that exiting

We don't have a playroom in our current home so we store her toys in baskets in her room. We mainly play in the living room but also in her room to change things up.

5 yr old has books, and art supplies (paper, scissors, markers)
3 yr old has books - although when she wakes early she takes out all her hair barrettes and plays with those

Definitely! She has a giant bedroom (it was meant to be the master), so it doubles as her playroom. It's completely baby proof, and the shelves are all at her level. She does have a rockabye rocking ladybug and a toy kitchen in the living room, and she has a shelf of toys in the kitchen for while I cook, but we spend the most play time in her room.
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
Nope, just books and stuffed animals. Everything is in her play area, which is technically our formal dining room since it's downstairs where we spend 99% of our time.
pomegranate / 3890 posts
yup books and stuffed animals. he also has little toys in there, we often play in his room.
pomegranate / 3872 posts
She has nicer dolls displayed in her room, most of her books, and toys that aren't in her current rotation. We mostly play in the playroom or her big playyard in the den.

No, just books. There a few toys in there, but they're stored and he doesn't know about them yet.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
Yes, but we do most of the playing in the living room. Plus, his favorite toy right now is his exersaucer; and that's in the living room.

She has a bin full of toys - but only because they're Christmas gifts that we haven't played with yet. Once she starts getting into her drawers, I'll move them somewhere else.
pear / 1812 posts
Yep! She has a nice big room, we spend about half of our time playing there.
watermelon / 14206 posts
Yep. DS keeps all his toys in his room. He'll take them out into the living room to play with, but they all go back in his room when he's done. LO will have the same set up.
squash / 13764 posts
yup, some toys in his room, but mostly books. Most of his toys and some of his books are in the living room.
coconut / 8498 posts
Not many. Mostly books and a few stuffed animals. Most of her toys are in the basement, and a few are in the living room.
pomegranate / 3983 posts
Just a few and a ton of books. There isn't much room with two beds in there so it's mostly just used for sleeping. We play in the living room.

She does have some toys. All of her stuffed animals are in there, as well as her play kitchen and a couple other random things. Her room is huge, so it made sense to keep some of her toys in there, but mostly we play in the living room upstairs or the one downstairs, which is adjacent to her room.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
A few but mostly for storage purposes. We spend the majority of his awake hours hanging out in the living room and kitchen so that's where his toys end up!
